【摘要】:Theproceduresdescribedwilltestthebehaviorofsegmentsofpaneledwallsystemconstructionunderconditionsrepresentativeofthoseencounteredinservice.Performancecriteriabasedondatafromthoseprocedurescanverifystructuraladequacyandservicelife.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertheproceduresfordeterminingtheresistanceofpaneledwallsystemssubjectedtocombinedlateralloadsandaxialloads.1.2Thesetestmethodsinvolvethesimultaneousapplicationoftransverse(lateralwind)andtensile(winduplift)loadstopaneledwallsystemassembliesanchoredatbothendswithhold-downconnectors.1.3Thesetestmethodsaresuitablefordeterminingthestructuraladequacyofthedesign,system,andwallfabricationtechnique,andarenotintendedtoevaluatethestrengthcapacityofthehold-downconnectors.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
