【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthemeasurementofmetalcoatingthicknessbyfirstformingastepbetweenthesurfaceofthecoatingandthesurfaceofitssubstrateandthenmeasuringthestepheightusingaprofilerecordinginstrument.Itcoverstheinstrumentationcharacteristicsandtheprocedureappropriatetothisspecificapplicationofprofilometricmethods.2Themethodisapplicabletothemeasurementofthicknessesofmetalcoatingsfrom0,01μmto1000μmonflatsurfacesand,ifappropriateprecautionsaretaken,oncylin-dricalsurfaces.Itishighlysuitableforthemeasurementofminutethicknessesbut,forthicknessesoflessthan0,01μm,surfaceflatnessandsurfacesmoothnessareverycriticalandaccordingly,themethodisnotrecommendedforusedowntothelowestlevelofmeasurementusualforelectronicstylusin-struments.Themethodissuitableformeasuringcoatingthicknesseswhenpreparingcoatingthicknessreferencestan-dards.
