【摘要】:Thistestmethodisameasureoftherelativepurityofthevarioustypesofliquefiedpetroleum(LP)gasesandhelpstoensuresuitablevolatilityperformance.Thetestresults,whenproperlyrelatedtovaporpressureanddensityoftheproduct,canbeusedtoindicatethepresenceofbutaneandheaviercomponentsinpropanetypeLP-gas,andpentaneandheaviercomponentsinpropane-butaneandbutanetypefuels.ThepresenceofhydrocarboncompoundslessvolatilethanthoseofwhichtheLP-gasisprimarilycomposedisindicatedbyanincreaseinthe95%evaporatedtemperature.Whenthetypeandconcentrationofhigherboilingcomponentsisrequired,chromatographicanalysisshouldbeused.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
