【摘要】:Thethermalconductivityofcarbonrefractoriesisapropertyrequiredforselectingtheirthermaltransmissioncharacteristics.Usersselectcarbonrefractoriestoprovidespecifiedconditionsofheatlossandcoldfacetemperature,withoutexceedingthetemperaturelimitationofthecarbonrefractory.Thistestmethodestablishesplacementofthermocouplesandpositioningoftestspecimensinthecalorimeter.ThisproceduremustbeusedwithTestMethodC201andrequiresalargethermalgradientandsteadystateconditions.Theresultsarebaseduponameantemperature.Thedatafromthistestmethodissuitableforspecificationacceptance,estimatingheatlossandsurfacetemperature,andthedesignofmulti-layerrefractoryconstruction.Theuseofthesedatarequiresconsiderationoftheactualapplicationenvironmentandconditions.1.1ThistestmethodsupplementsTestMethodC201,andshallbeusedinconjunctionwiththatproceduretodeterminethethermalconductivityofcarbonorcarbon-bearingrefractories.Thistestmethodisdesignedforrefractorieshavingaconductivityfactorofnotmorethan200Btux00B7;in./hx00B7;ft2x00B7;x00B0;F(28.8W/mx00B7;K).1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
