【摘要】:TheFieldbusApplicationLayer(FAL)providesuserprogramswithameanstoaccessthefieldbuscommunicationenvironment.Inthisrespect,theFALcanbeconsideredawindowbetweencorrespondingapplicationprograms.Thisstandardprovidesthecommonelementsforbasictime-criticalandnon-time-criticalmessagingcommunicationsbetweenapplicationprogramsinanautomationenvironmentaswellasmaterialspecifictotheType21protocol.Theterm“time-critical”isusedtorepresentthepresenceofatime-windowwithinwhichoneormorespecifiedactionsarerequiredtobecompletedwithsomedefinedlevelofcertainty.Failuretocompletespecifiedactionswithinthetimewindowrisksfailureoftheapplicationsrequestingtheactions,withattendantrisktoequipment,plant,andpossiblyhumanlife.Thisstandarddefines,inanabstractway,theexternallyvisibleserviceprovidedbytheFALintermsof:a)anabstractmodelfordefiningapplicationresources(objects)capableofbeingmanipulatedbyusersviatheFALservice;b)theprimitiveactionsandeventsoftheservice;c)theparametersassociatedwitheachprimitiveactionandevent,andtheformthattheytake;d)theinterrelationshipbetweentheseactionsandevents,andtheirvalidsequences.Thepurposeofthisstandardistodefinetheservicesprovidedto:a)theFAL-userattheboundarybetweentheuserandtheapplicationlayerofthefieldbusReferenceModel;b)systemsmanagementattheboundarybetweentheapplicationlayerandsystemsmanagementofthefieldbusReferenceModel.ThisstandarddescribesthestructureandservicesoftheIECFAL,inconformancewiththeOSIBasicReferenceModel(ISO/IEC7498)andtheOSIApplicationlayerStructure(ISO/IEC9545).FALservicesandprotocolsareprovidedbyFALapplicationentities(AEs)containedintheapplicationprocesses.TheFALAEiscomposedofasetofobject-orientedApplicationServiceElements(ASEs)andaLayerManagementEntity(LME)thatmanagestheAE.TheASEsprovidecommunicationservicesthatoperateonasetofrelatedapplicationprocessobject(APO)classes.OneoftheFALASEsisamanagementASEthatprovidesacommonsetofservicesformanagementoftheinstancesofFALclasses.Althoughtheseservicesspecifyhowrequestsandresponsesareissuedanddeliveredfromtheperspectiveofapplications,theydonotincludeaspecificationofwhattherequestingandrespondingapplicationsaretodowiththem.Thatis,theseservicesonlydefinewhatrequestsandresponsesapplicationscansendorreceive,notthefunctionsoftheapplicationsthemselves.ThispermitsgreaterflexibilitytotheFAL-usersinstandardizingsuchobjectbehavior.Inadditiontotheseservices,somesupportingservicesarealsodefinedinthisstandardtoprovideaccesstotheFALtocontrolcertainaspectsofitsoperation.
