【摘要】:GeneralThisStandardcoversrequirementsformanuallyoperatedmetallicvalvessizesNPS1.2throughNPS2,foroutdoorinstallationasgasshut-offvalvesattheendofthegasservicelineandbeforethegasregulatorandmeterwherethedesignatedgaugepressureofthegaspipingsystemdoesnotexceed125psi(8.6bar).TheStandardappliestovalvesoperatedinatemperatureenvironmentbetween.20degreesFand150degreesF(.29degreesCand66degreesC).DesignThisStandardsetsforththeminimumcapabilities,characteristics,andproperties,whichavalveatthetimeofmanufacturemustpossess,inordertobeconsideredsuitableforuseingaspipingsystems.Detailsofdesignandmanufacture(otherthanthosestatedinthisStandard,includingsuchdesignandproductionteststhatwillproduceavalvethatwillhavetherequiredcapabilitiestomeetthisStandard)remaintheresponsibilityofthemanufacturer.
